Doing nothing today

Well it is Labor Day and am sitting in a very quiet house right now. DH (John) and DD (Tabitha) have gone to do some errands and I should be upstairs folding my 3+ loads of laundry but decided to stop and post on here first. I realized yesterday that since starting this blog, I haven't posted a thing.

My friend N is coming over in a little bit to help me redo my Master bedroom. I have had a love/hate relationship with this room for a very long time. I have tried new curtains, bedspreads, pics, you name it and it just never seems right. So N has decided to help me with it. She can sew just about anything which I am grateful for since I can't sew on a button. So our 1st project is the curtain valances. I went and got the fabric and materials last night and she will be coming to measure today. Once she leaves I will take some pics so that I can share the befores and afters. I do think that the small changes we will be making are going to do the trick. At least my fingers are crossed.
