Did I tell you that we are now living with a little monkey? Well, let me just say that my little one is a true girly girl and has never really had any interest in athletics at all. So it has surprised me that she has decided for the 1st time in her life to climb. Even as a baby she was never one to get into anything at all. We never had to worry about her getting on or into cabinets, putting things in her mouth (well except for the time she tried to eat the dog food. Luckily I shoveled it out of her mouth before she could swallow it and boy did that make her mad lol). Anyway, earlier this summer we enrolled her in gymnastics. We did it mainly because she is not the most coordinated child and thought it would help, which it has but now at 5 years old, I have a climber. Not a great climber, but a climber non the less. So far she hasn't hurt herself but she is obsessed with climbing the walls. I wonder what is going to happen when we put her in swimming lessons. Scary!
